I had a revelation this weekend! As
you know, Fluffernutter wanted to see my room-mate’s band this weekend up in
SanFran, but I couldn’t find a ride and I didn’t want to disappoint
Fluffernutter—so I bought us a plane ticket so he could BE THERE. So THANK YOU
to all the kind and compassionate and GOOD people who donated to his surgery!
The fund is now at $3,500, but since we can’t operate and I’m sure NO ONE wants
the hassle of figuring out how to route all those donations back, I have renamed
this the FLUFFERNUTTER BUCKET LIST FUND.
He had such a good time at the
concert and enjoyed some organic treats at the Farmers Market up there that it
occurred to me—WHY NOT GIVE HIM THE BEST FEW MONTHS OF HIS LIFE.
I met this really hot guy at the
show who had some ‘shrooms and later that night, I had an honest-to-god convo
with Fluffernutter. He told me:
a.)
How much he loves all of you and can tell that you are surrounded
by a silver light of healing and protection
b.)
He really enjoyed the show and thought the new drummer is great.
c.)
Something unfortunate will happen to anyone who didn’t help him
out.
d.)
He isn’t quite ready to say good-bye yet. That if he could get
through his bucket list, his soul could leave this earth at peace.
AMAZING.
That’s my little guy. So all you
who already gave once, enjoy that silver light! Dan, and the haters, your time
is coming. It’s not too late to help out the best damn pet in the world! If you
can spare a little bit, please don’t forget my little Fluffernutter!
No one told me it was going to be
this expensive to LOVE a defenseless little creature, and I’m totes bad at
planning and managing my own finances so it’s just not fair to Fluffernutter to
have to suffer because I suck at budgets! Excel spreadsheets are for NERDS,
right!?!? LOL! (actual nerds, not like trendy cool nerds!) I have Fluffernutters list of things he wants
to do/experience before that dreaded day. I will post pics so you can all see
what your generous donations have done to truly bring peace and comfort to a
deserving animal!!
